Silent Planet Series Take me with you
The act of drawing in itself is both delicate and heavily physical. In this realm, I attempt to reconcile science with belief and tangible reality with fantasy to create new narratives correspondent to the human condition. Merriment, tragedy, violence or humor are inherent in most momentous occasions in life and it is with these sentiments that I tend to approach my work.

These invented landscapes and creatures are ostensibly animalistic, yet they are representative of humans. I try to create human images that are not already loaded with reference or reminiscent of specific art historical movements. I seek to create a new visual narrative about death, life and the afterlife through abstracted anthropomorphic forms and compositions.
